Product Carbon Footprint

The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF for short) includes the sum of all CO2 emissions of a product or service in the individual phases of the product life cycle. This includes raw materials, production, transport, use and disposal.

At uvex

uvex safety calculates the carbon footprint at product level for an ever growing number of our products. This ensures that you, our customer, have a transparent and reliable metric for your Scope 3 calculation of uvex products. uvex calculates the product carbon footprint using the measurement methodology specified in the ISO 14067 and is externally certified according to this ISO standard.
