Innovative safety spectacles for any application

From ergonomic glasses to high-quality goggles: At the A+A 2021 in Düsseldorf, uvex is presenting their new 3-in-1 safety eyewear line, the uvex i-range, for virtually any workplace hazard or environment. The uvex i-range planet version also sets new standards in terms of sustainability.

Whether carrying out simple assembly work or performing more demanding applications in high risk areas: The new uvex i-range safety eyewear line comprising the uvex i-lite, uvex i-guard and uvex i-guard plus offers three specialists to meet any challenge.

The lightweight uvex i-lite glasses impress with their flat lens geometry and modern design. The ergonomically designed uvex i-guard provides additional protection against liquids and particles thanks to its highly flexible frame. The uvex i-guard plus high-quality safety goggles with headband offer increased mechanical strength and are ideal for demanding work.

All models in the uvex i-range are equipped with proven uvex supravision coating technology and UV400 protection. Recycled and bio-based materials are used to produce the face seal of the uvex i-guard and i-guard plus in order to reduce the impact on resources.

The uvex i-range planet variant is even more sustainable. The lens and arms of these glasses are also made of 39% bio-based material: The castor oil plant is the renewable raw material and the energy is obtained from biomass sources. uvex also uses environmentally friendly solutions for packaging: The films of the polyester bags used consist of up to 70% recycled material, which is obtained from production waste. All cartons are made of recycled paper.

The properties of the uvex i-range planet safety spectacles (e.g. mechanical strength, UV protection and comfort) are not affected by the environmentally friendly and resource-saving production – as always, the wearer can rely on the high level of "Made in Germany" uvex quality.
