When it comes to our first completely compostable workwear collection, we have thought of everything. Every button, every piece of yarn and every item of packaging is Cradle to Cradle™ gold-certified. From renewable energies and short transport routes within Europe to high social standards, all criteria are tested and certified by an independent institute. This means that we are not only doing justice to our motto, “protecting people” – we are also protecting future generations and the environment.

Environmentally friendly clothing

This clothing decomposes fully within around 400 days of composting and is returned to the natural life cycle.

Recycling

Buttons, yarn, fabric and dye – everything is completely compostable.

Packaging

Paper bags and tags are made from wood fibres.

Environmentally friendly clothing from uvex

Our uvex suXXeed greencycle planet collection was designed to be recycled. At the end of their service life, these products can be 100% returned to the natural life cycle. They can either be composted at home or taken to an industrial composting plant.

The biodegrading process requires microorganisms, atmospheric oxygen, moisture and warmth. All materials used, including dye, are 100% compostable. This means that the material can be returned to nature and new raw materials can be produced.
