Up-to-date information on occupational safety training at the uvex academy in relation to coronavirus (COVID-19)

We are continuing to keep a close eye on the ongoing situation with COVID-19, and the health of our participants, colleagues and partners is our utmost priority. Please rest assured that we are taking all the necessary precautions. Our speakers and employees have been informed about all the required hygiene measures and social distancing rules, and instructed to comply with them. Our seminar rooms have chairs for a maximum of 11 people, taking social distancing into account.

How do I sign up for a seminar?

You can sign up online via our homepage (no deadline for enrolment). You will receive final confirmation of your registration by email.

Where can I find out how many places are still available for a seminar?

The number of places still available is shown in the online registration form.

Is there a dress code?

There is no required dress code for seminars at the uvex academy. Comfortable businesswear is fine.

Is there anything on in the evening?

Participants are free to do what they choose in the evenings. If a one-off evening event is planned, however, we will let you know in advance.

Will I receive proof of my participation?

You will always receive a certificate of participation or a certificate with a score after your seminar.

Is any catering provided at the uvex academy?

During the event a selection of hot and cold drinks will be provided. The course fees also include lunch as well as refreshments during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks.

What should I do if I have dietary requirements/allergies?

Please get in touch with us on the morning of the event at the latest so that we can order a special meal for you in the uvexeria.

Where will my course take place?

Almost all of our training courses take place at the uvex academy, Siemensstraße 6, 90766 Fürth, Germany.

Where can I park on the day of the event?

Spaces in our carpark are available for course participants. Please ring the bell on the uvex academy gate and we will be happy to let you in.

Where can I find information about course provision and cancellations?

We reserve the right to cancel a training course in the event of insufficient demand or number of participants (up to 14 days before the planned date of the event). Last-minute cancellations are possible due to other significant events beyond our control (for example unexpected illness on the part of the instructor or force majeure). You will be informed immediately in the event of a cancellation.

Can I cancel/change my booking?

You can change or cancel your booked course or transfer your reservation to another person without incurring any fees up to 14 days before the beginning of the course. To do so, please contact us directly via phone (+49 (0)911 9736-1710) or email (academy@uvex.de).

Do I need to do any preparation for the seminar?

You will receive all the required documents when you attend the course. If you need to bring any additional materials or do any special preparation for the seminar, we will let you know in advance.

When will I receive an invoice?

An invoice for the course fees is generally issued after the end of the course. Invoices can only be paid by bank transfer.

Can training courses also be delivered in my own company’s premises?
